Serving Pine County
Explore the World of Mentoring!
The youth in our community have different stories and different struggles, but their need is the same: someone they can trust, someone who's consistent, someone they can look up to, and a sense belonging to the community.
A mentor's year-long presence has a direct and positive impact on youth. Youth aren't the only ones whose lives can change from this friendship, mentoring can change two lives - theirs and yours.

What does adventure mean to you?
Could it include meeting new people, giving back, and trying something new? Maybe it's time to embark on your next adventure:
Become a Mentor
Wondering if you would make a good mentor? If you can answer "yes" to the following questions, then you would be a great mentor!
Are you a mature and reliable person 21 or older?
Do you care about community, youth and encouraging positive decision making?
Do you have 1 hour a week to build a relationship with a mentee?
Do you have a car or have access to one regularly?
Can you commit one year to a youth?
Would you like to meet other like-minded adults?
Are you ready to have fun?
We also have mentoring opportunities with less time commitment such as academic mentoring/tutoring and Mentor for a Day!
We are always looking for new mentors! We welcome safe and responsible adults who are motivated to engage Pine County's youth. Become part of a dynamic mentoring community that is dedicated to changing lives through friendship and fun. As a volunteer you will:
-Receive assistance in finding the ideal match for you.
-Share your knowledge, wisdom and experience with others.
-Enjoy the pleasures that come with being connected with youth.
-Remain an active and vital member of the community.
-Meet new people, develop new skills and discover new experiences.
-Be recognized for and feel good about your services to the community.
