Your Gifts Have Great Momentum!
“The Adopt-a-Match program provides an opportunity for a sponsor to contribute directly to a local program and see results from their investment impact their community,” says Shawn Jansen, Kettle Kinship Program Director.
Individuals, businesses, congregations, and civic groups can sponsor youth in our program through an annual donation to the Adopt-a-Match program. “We live in a very charitable-minded region. Our sponsors realize their contribution has an immediate and lasting impact, and they feel comfortable that their tax-deductible gift is being spent to strengthen local communities and enrich the lives of local children,” says Jansen.

“We are beginning to see a trend in group giving among friends, colleagues, neighbors, and civic groups who wish to sponsor a child in our program. When $1000 is divided among a group of 10 or more people, each individual’s donation is manageable, and the collective benefit is meaningful.” Won’t you or your group please consider an “Adopt-a-Match” gift today? When you give locally, it has lasting IMPACT on your community!

?Adopt-A-Match Today!?
Adopt-a-Match is a unique program allowing you as individuals, groups, businesses, or congregations to underwrite the cost of matching a Pine County child with a caring adult mentor. Your tax- deductible gift goes directly to helping match a child on our waiting list with the role model they need to develop the skills they desire.

Why does sponsoring an adult/youth match cost $1000 a year?
This is our cost to bring a successful match together and keep it going for a year. Initially, a $1000 sponsorship covers the expense of recruiting and training a volunteer, conducting background and reference checks and conducting in-home interviews with both the child and adult mentor. Additionally, a $1000 sponsorship underwrites our cost of supervising the match and providing continued support and guidance. The agency also arranges activities to help foster this mentoring experience and keep the match active for years.
Your gift of any size has great momentum when pooled with other gifts to support an Adopt-a-Match sponsorship!
Do I have to renew my sponsorship gift every year?
This decision is totally up to you. Most sponsors are inspired to give and happy to annually renew their sponsorship because their generosity is making a positive impact on local youth and strengthening their community.
Your Adopt-a-Match sponsorship gifts are 100% tax-deductible.
